Kingdom Way Beliefs
The Godhead
We believe that there is One Eternal, Almighty, and True God, Creator and Sustainer of heaven and earth—externally existing and manifesting Himself in the Scriptures in three distinct Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each member of the Godhead possesses precisely the same nature, attributes, perfections, and are worthy of the same precise reverence, worship, and love.
The Person of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man—both in His undiminished Deity and unfallen humanity, united without confusion and/or alteration within His glorious Person. He alone was, is and ever will be sinless while being supernaturally conceived by the Spirit of God and born of the virgin Mary.
Atonement
We believe that in infinite love for the lost, Jesus Christ voluntarily accepted His Father’s will and became the divinely provided, sacrificial Lamb and took upon the sin of the world. Therefore, His death was substitutionary—the Just for the unjust, and by His death He became Savior of the world and abolished the enmity along with the curse of the Law.
The Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. His resurrected body—made up of flesh and bones, glory, and immortality constitutes the archetype of the believer’s future resurrected body.
Salvation
We believe that the salvation of the sinner is by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Christ alone—according to the Scriptures. This new life implanted by the Holy Spirit through the word is the Triune God’s free sovereign gift that cannot be earned by human works, no matter how true, sincere, noble, or godly. Despite having been saved and made a child of God, no manner of good works can ever improve upon this gracious bestowment of man’s new nature in Christ Jesus
